The U14s had a fantastic time at the Leeds 3v3 tournament last weekend. The squad had enough depth to field a team at both levels, competing for the first time at a 3on3 and learning quickly over the day. The pace was fast and the competition extremely strong. The B team started extremely well, winning 4 matches and drawing 1. They made the group final and gave it there all but missed out on the win. The A team took longer to find their feet but dug deep and adjusted play. Responding to the different format they played smart and relied on each other, edging ahead and ending with a resounding win in the final against the hosts. Throughout the day the 2 teams supported each other, watching each others games and cheering each other on throughout. A fantastic end to the season and a credit to the club. Thanks to all the players, parents, officials and our wonderful coaches for all their work throughout the season.
