A successful day for our u14s with a 3-2 win against Manchester on home ice.
The team got off to a great start when Ben Wood scored within 10 seconds. Later on, Manchester got back into the game and went 2-1 ahead. Josh Noble scored the 2-2 and in the 3rd period, Whitley went ahead 3-2 through Ollie Jardine. Manchester put a lot of pressure on to try to equalise but Orson Groot pulled off some great saves to keep his goal clean and was later awarded the Spirit of the Game award.
