5 out of 5 for the Braves

Fife-20130428-00082Last Weekend (27th/28th April) the Braves took part in a tournament at Fife. The were the only team to be undefeated after winning all five of the games which they played.

The final was quite eventful with billy nicholson (whitley) and james wallace (solway) being put into the penalty box for fighting! We went up one nill then they came back and scored to level. We then had a goal disallowed but managed to hold on and score the winning goal. Jordan boyle played superbly with the support of the team!

The team were on fire and were a credit to the coaching staff! It was an accumulation of the efforts of the coaching staff throughout the season and not to mention the parents for there support in travelling the length and breadth of the country with the team. The song you can’t touch this should have been their theme tune over the weekend.

  • Jordan boyle was awarded the dream team goalie status
  • Ben richards was awarded the dream team forward status
  • Harry harley was awarded the dream team defence status
  • The spirit of the tournament also went to the braves.

All of the awards were picked by other teams in the tournament.
