Unfortunately we have had to increase this years subs as follows:- One child £55 Two children £95 Three children £135 This will include all bus travel I am not happy about having to do this but unfortunately with the accounts figures not adding up we need to pull in more revenue. Our 2011/12 registration evening has been pencilled in for 7.30 – 9.00 p.m. Thursday 7th July. All parents are encouraged to attend as we’ll be formally presenting the Club’s accounts and forecast for the year ahead. Mick will also be outlining his plans for the new season. The membership fee for next season will be confirmed after our fourth coming planning meeting.

Gillian Johnson has joined the Committee as U12 and U16 Girls parent representative. Thanks also go to Sue Pell, former U16 Girls rep, who has stood down for personal reasons. After three away games in a row, The Tomahawks were back on home ice for the first time since mid January for the local derby against Northern Stars. The Stars have had a difficult season both on and off the ice, after being evicted from the Metro Radio Arena only weeks into the new campaign, and now play their home games out of Whitley. After their rather disappointing draw in their previous game at Sheffield, the Tomahawks were back on the road to take on Nottingham at The National Ice Centre. Whitley were 5-2 winners in the previous meeting of the 2 clubs at Hillheads.
The Mohawks are off on tour next month with a competition in Fife next weekend and then another competition at Kingston at the end of the month. The Kids have had a tough season but now its time for them to enjoy the tournaments and for their parents to sit back, have a drink, and look back at the development of the team over the past season.
