Movember
Once again this year Gary Hellens along with with Hockey Helps have decided to take part in Movember, raising money for prostate and testicular cancer and raising awareness of mens health. Paul Lynch Photography has agreed to donate half of his takings from club photos during the month of November to the Hockey Helps Team and to Movember. Nottingham 2 v 3 Whitley Braves (away)
The Braves made the long journey south to Nottingham without Kate Ord, Jack Davies, out with a hand injury and also without Daniel Spedding who received a 3 game ban for his intent to head butt in last weeks game between these two sides. Nottingham started with Thomas Hovell between the pipes, taking over from last weeks starting keeper Sam Gospel.
Whitley Braves 2 v 5 Nottingham
After their draw at Hull, The Braves were back in action for their first home game of the season against Nottingham. Jack Davies was a doubt for Whitley, having injured his hand at Hull, but was on the team sheet and Connor McGill was called up from the under 16`s to bolster the defence.
Halloween Party

Hull Stingrays 4 v 4 Whitley Braves
Whitley Braves started the new league season with a road trip to Humberside to take on the Hull Stingrays, in what turned out to be a very entertaining game. Whitley were without Dale Sharp and Natasha Crozier who both have long term injuries, while Hull have added the much travelled Craig Thurston to their roster.

Management Committee The Club is delighted to announce Gillian Johnson’s appointment as Vice Chair, with specific responsibility for coordinating fundraising initiatives Jeremy Peardon and Andrew Bradshaw also join the management team as U16 and U18 Parent Representatives which simply leaves a vacancy for a Squaws’ Committee representative.
